So this is the Ethan Brush Fire burning at 99th Avenue & Baseline. I live about 3 or so miles from it. Lucky for us, it's going west, not east! We are, however getting plenty of ash and really dark cloudy sky from it. It's a little freaky to be this close to a fire. The news says it's over 2,000 miles wide now, oh and I just read it's headed east. Good times. Luckily there's a bunch of stuff to burn between here and there. Here is the view from the East Valley:
I hope they get it out soon. I am enjoying the shade it offers though...
